Communicates with customers as required and, in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager, may develop outbound freight schedules.

Keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.

Checks outbound shipments for accuracy and readiness for customer delivery.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: SHIPPING: · Ensures the accuracy of all shipping documents and gathers and maintains all data and records relative to shipping activities.

· Assures that shipping counts match picking documents and assists in resolving any discrepancies.

· Collects all documentation for outbound freight and routes to the proper record keeping unit.

· Ensures proper labels and tickets have been applied before shipping.

· Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.

· May pick orders to be shipped.

· Schedules inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations and capacities in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager.

· Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.

RECEIVING: · Ensures the accuracy of all receiving documents and gathers and matches forms (PO, packing slip, computer printout) relative to receiving activities.

· Assures that receiving counts match purchase orders and packing slips documents and assists in resolving any discrepancies.

· Files all receiving paperwork in PO sequence.

· Identifies backorders and places merchandise in designated holding area for expedited handling.

· Receives UPS orders and subdivides into separate product category for verification and stocking activities.

· Verifies (recounts) orders received by others to ensure accuracy of incoming merchandise.

SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS: · May place incoming merchandise into inventory.

· May direct and oversee the pallet control and exchange program.

· May assist in unloading trucks.

· May operate fork lift and truck.

· May direct others in preparing outgoing and receiving incoming shipments.

EQUIPMENT, TOOLS AND WORK AIDS: · Hand truck, catalogs, charts, forms, inventories, manuals, pallet jack, scale STRENGTH REQUIREMENT: Medium Work: · Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

DescriptionThe role of a Technical Business Development Leader is to obtain new business opportunities by providing technical and engineering support to customers leveraging Accellent’s processing capabilities and technical expertise.

The Technical Business Development Leader will engage customers with sound technical consultation and will define, support, close, monitor, and report on development-related and new business opportunities, programs, contracts and agreements.

Effectively work with Accellent Technical Solutions and manufacturing facilities to identify, scope, and sell appropriate supply chain solutions to our customers.

Ensure project confidentiality and coordinate Non-Disclosure Agreements with customersAccount Management SupportWork with the Sales Account Management teams to understand the full scope of customer’s business including executing corporate direction, identifying design and development opportunities, providing technical consultation, implementing strategic deals and revenue growth.

Work directly with customers to identify and provide solutions to their supply chain management challenges, including development, design, and manufacturing requirements.

Responsible for technical and NPD customer satisfaction.

Communicate effectively across Accellent all customer concerns and obtain additional assistance / support when required.

Strategic Market Segment DevelopmentResponsible for the implementation of strategic directions defined by the Business Platform Leader.

Identifies key initiatives and opportunities to the Business Platform LeaderIdentify capability gaps within market segments and help to prioritize development of missing capabilities.

Assist in identifying technology trends and market dynamics.

Support marketing efforts, as required, for example supporting trade showsActively participate in the development of the Accellent Technology Plan   Required ExperienceBachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or similar discipline.

5-7 years experience in an engineering position required.

Minimum, 5 years experience in the manufacture preferably of endoscopic devices and/or components.

Minimum: 2 years experience in project planning and scheduling.

Candidate should possess a sound understanding of customs and the logistics of moving goods and materials on a global scale.

Candidate should develop collaborative relations and continuous communications with vendors.

Should understand program Supply Chain Management needs; delivering supply chain solutions; development and management of strategic Supply Chain initiatives; early involvement in program pursuits and capture; proposal development; and Supply Chain Management team leadership.
