We are seeking a talented Territory Sales Manager to work in the Northeast District of our US Industrial Sales Group.

The territory includes the entire states of Virginia and West Virginia.

Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and track comprehensive business plans with distributors, designed to increase revenue within the territory
Call on senior level distributor management and gain commitment on Fluke sales initiatives
Train distributor sales personnel on how to identify and close sales opportunities within the Fluke product portfolio
Utilize sales data to identify potential problems (including poor sales performance) and take corrective action
Work with Manufacturers Representative Agencies in the territory, including directing their day to day activities, in order to extend Flukes reach in key channels and along important product families
Target important vertical industries in the territory and identify key accounts and decision makers within the industry to call on
Call on mid to upper level operations management in large end-user accounts to identify and close large value-oriented solutions
Host technical end-user seminars designed to demonstrate the use and value of Flukes test equipment technology
Identify and represent Fluke at important end-user trade shows in the territory
Utilize CRM system to actively manage a funnel of opportunities within the territory
Execute national promotions in the territory, and create and implement local/regional promotions designed to overdrive sales results
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Skills and Qualifications:
Effective sales and communications skills
Strong time and territory management skills
Demonstrated leadership capability
Experience with funnel management
Ability to make extended presentations to large/diverse groups
Ability to motivation/direct distributors and Manufacturers Representative Agencies to promote and sell Fluke products
Strong computer skills, including the MS Office suite.

CRM experience is desired

Director Income Tax Accounting and Special Projects

The Director, US Income Tax Accounting and Special Projects will be responsible for the preparation of the Corporation’s US quarterly and year-end tax provision in the Company’s financial reports. They should be intimately familiar with the requirements of both FAS 109 and Sarbanes-Oxley, including testing for SOX 404 certification purposes. This individual should also be familiar with the federal tax implications of international companies and be able to interface with peer positions both domestically and internationally. The Director will directly supervise a staff of one employee, but have indirect supervision of other tax departmental personnel in the preparation o the Company’s tax provision. In addition, they will have responsibility for the IRS federal income tax audits and significant special projects, including interaction with tax advisors in the completion of the R&D multi-million tax credit project. They should demonstrate leadership ability across the tax function and broadly across the MeadWestvaco business structure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Provide the leadership to ensure the proper levels of support for and the involvement of the business units and corporate functional areas for income tax accounting matters

o Direct the preparation of the Company’s income tax provision and associated analytical documents related to FAS 109 and Sarbanes Oxley compliance requirements.

o Establish strong communication channels with Corporate Controller’s Office to ensure timely and consistent tax accounting reporting.

o Responsible for the development of quarterly and annual effective tax rates estimates, monthly accounting tax provision, the adequacy of tax account reconciliations and deferred tax account roll forward analysis.

o Ensure the accuracy of all tax related research and data.

o Assist with Internal Revenue Service audits as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

o Bachelor’s degree required.

o 8 – 15 years experience; preferably a CPA with public accounting experience, as well as multi-national corporate experience.

o Extensive knowledge and experience in FAS 109, Accounting for Income Tax, and Sarbanes – Oxley requirements..

o Experience with CorpTax software and SAP preferred.

o Strong communications skills.

o Detailed and analytical in nature with the ability to diligently pursue tax related data.

o High ethical standards combined with demonstrated ability to act as an ambassador of the company.
