Your expertise researching the internet to catch misuse and fraud is what will help you catch the bad guys trying to sell our phones on the black market or using the service for illicit purposes.

You’ll go deep into searches on websites as big and broad as Ebay and into darker, murkier corners of the net as well to detect fraudulent activity.

In this role, you will be the hero who helps VMU reduce lost revenue caused by the illegal re-sale and export of handsets and Top Up cards. You’ll work these cases to completion by following up on leads from suspects, retailers, law enforcement and other tipsters. Your investigative curiosity should be matched by a talent for creating reports and sharing your findings with management. We’ll also get you involved in audits of fraud process and fraud maintenance including suspension reinstatement of accounts.

Job Requirements

To score this job…you should be super internet savvy with 3 years experience related to deterring fraud. You will need to have excellent negotiation and fact finding skills. Persistence and follow up is a must as you will be dealing with suspects and their associates directly. Extreme determination and perseverance is required to open a case and close it with successful results.
