Key Accountabilities
1. Restaurant Operational Execution –Manage/supervise all aspects of the area’s restaurant business, operations, and facilities ensuring A.SI standards of quality, service (NPS) and execution are maintained.
–Complete periodic restaurant operations review (AOA) and campaign assessments.
Accountable for the follow up and follow through on issues and performance with GM. –Responsible / accountable for ensuring food safety standards are followed (Health Department and Ecosure).
–Respond to guest relations (GSRs) compliment/complaint calls for the area’s restaurants.
–Assist with the implementation of new menu / marketing campaigns to ensure successful results and guest satisfaction.
–Assist with the planning and implementation of community involvement activities.
–Validate restaurant training program, Neighborhood University, and Neighborhood Expert staffing numbers are employed and accurate.
2. Financial Operations.
–Manage/Supervise the financial operations for the restaurants in their area.
–Assist GMs in developing and monitoring the restaurants budgets.
–Provide communication, coaching and counseling to the restaurant management staff to assist in achieving P&L results and maximizing profits.
–Responsible for achieving the area’s KPIs by assisting and supporting the GMs in building sales and controlling costs.
3. Staffing & Development.
–Work with HR and GMs in staffing for current and future manpower needs at the associate and management levels.
–Utilizing Apple PM to have
1. working development plans for all salaried manager
2. completed mid year and year end evaluations.
–Succession Plan for restaurant managers and GM positions.
Oversee the quality of the restaurant’s teams by right staffing for all position levels.
4. Protecting the Brand –Manage/ supervise all aspects of compliance by A.SI regulations and policies along with local, state, and federal agencies.
Inspect and monitor compliance with food safety, alcohol usage, harassment policies, inventory controls, labor regulations, I-9s, Associate Training, and cash handling procedures.
–Responsible and accountable to ensure that these policies are enforced by performing audits with the appropriate forms and reporting on issues and corrective actions.
–Utilizing Progressive Discipline, Steton Tracking, Focus Audits, and Resolve It processes.
Ideal candidate will have: Education, Training & CertificationREQUIRED: –High School diploma or GED; –Bachelor’s Degree or the requisite management experience in a multi-unit casual dining chain.
DESIRED: –Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management.
Experience in Similar Role or Function REQUIRED: –Minimum 2-3 years of General Manager experience.
Industry Experience REQUIRED: –Experience with a national chain restaurant in the casual dining segment.
–External candidates need 2-4 years of mult-unit management experience.
