With programming that encompass assessment, drug and alcohol education, and education services for juvenile and adult populations, we are redefining effective means to reduce recidivism.

Primary Responsibilities: * Enforcing facility rules and regulation and investigate violations.

* Prepare disciplinary and incident reports.

Reports should be legible, concise, and state clearly the reason for the report.

* Represent the program through court hearings, as a witness or when subpoenaed.

* Signing residents in and out of the program.

* Monitor residents on facility grounds to ensure whereabouts and activities.

* Monitor residents outside the facility by location verification phone calls and noting changes in locations by writing notes in the Tracking Log. * Monitor testing of residents through urinalysis and Breathalyzer.

* Contact testing laboratory regarding urinalysis tests, complete necessary paperwork and place residents with positive tests on “hold'.

* Perform pat searches of residents and resident vehicle and room searches.

* Conduct rounds randomly, but at least hourly, verifying whereabouts of all residents.

Rounds should include resident rooms, offices and facility perimeters.

* Monitor resident medication, including Antabuse, by documenting new medications and disbursement of said medication for prescribed dosage and time frame.

* Contact and properly file escape reports with appropriate authorities–collect and secure property of escapee.

* Communicate verbally and/or through the “Log Book' information needed by staff and other shifts.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED Certification; possess a valid driver's license in the state of employment; provide information for a criminal history record check through the Department of Corrections; be available for shift work (normally 8 hour shifts, 5 days on/2 days off).

Must have ability to lift, at least, 30 pounds and transport bags from the Duty Station to storage, OR from a resident's room to the duty station to storage.
