healthtronics.com). SUMMARY OF PURPOSE: The Payroll Coordinator is a hands-on position responsible for processing payroll and other payroll related functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Prepare and process semi-monthly payroll utilizing HRIS/Payroll System.
2. Audit and validate payroll and other transactions prior to transmit to ensure accuracy.
3. Update and audit pay information in HRIS/Payroll system.
4. Process 401(k) changes and loans; administer PTO balances and adjustments.
5. Run ad hoc reports as needed or requested.
6. Assist Payroll Lead with all reporting including but not limited to monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
7. Provide timely and accurate ad hoc reporting to internal and external audit to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

9. Ensure manager review of and compliance with employee time approval.
10. Provides support to the Payroll Administrator and HR team with regard to key initiatives or projects as needed.
11. Audit New Employee Data for special pay arrangements, taxation setup and direct deposit accuracy.
12. Assist employees with HRIS/Payroll questions and related issues; respond to all internal and external customer inquiries in timely and professional manner.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources or related field preferred.
2. 1 – 3 years of multi-state payroll experience required.
3. Able to collaborate with internal and external resources and be able to meet deadlines.
4. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
6. Able to handle sensitive and confidential situation
7. Versatile, flexible, and a willing to work within a dynamic environment.
8. Strong organization and time management skills.
9. Detail and results oriented; follows through to resolve any/all outstanding issues.
