Aerotek is currently seeking a Composition Technician for our client located in Baltimore, Maryland.Job Requirements: -Fabricating Radomes in molds using prescribed lay-up techniques.
-Performing kitting, assembly, equipment operation, and finish work.
-Reading blueprints and assisting with production and material control activities.
-Loading, programming, and monitoring operation of autoclaves and ovens for curing in accordance with procedures and operate other equipment required in the process.
-Performing required finish work and rework on assembled units per specifications and procedures.
-2-4 years experience in Aerospace, Auto, or Boat fabrication.
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Some knowledge of Resins, Epoxies, and wet lay-ups.
-Ability to follow procedures and directions with minimal supervision.
-Good mechanical skills.
-Basic math skills.
